Originally from East Vancouver, Richelle is a 200 hour RYT with additional training in Yin, Trauma-Informed Yoga and has complete her 300 hour in Yoga Therapy. Richelle found yoga during a difficult time in her life and dedicates her teachings, schooling and offerings to provide support and education for herself and others through the abilities of this practice.
Her compassionate energy encourages students to free themselves of external expectations and honour the needs of their body in each moment. She strives to offer alignment cues and modifications that support students in feeling safe in their practice to provide the space for self-exploration, curiosity and greater mobility.
When she’s not on her mat you can find Richelle hiking, spending time with friends or curled up in a cozy chair geeking out on books, articles or podcasts on health, wellness and anatomy. Also a warm cup of coffee thrown in there somewhere 😉
