Shala Yoga’s vision is to grow the yoga community in Squamish and to provide a welcoming space for all those who walk in the door. The studio provides a warm environment, where teachers have personal and authentic relationships with their students. We encourage everyone to take the time to nourish themselves.
Shala offers strong asana classes, but in addition, other aspects (limbs) of the practice of yoga are offered at the studio, such as pranayama (breath work), meditation and bhakti (devotion). These practices assist in calming the mind and creating a healthy, and strong body and soul.
Shala Yoga offers classes, as well as workshops and trainings with the highest quality teachers. It is a studio for yoga practitioners who are interested in deepening their practice and learning more about yoga. Beginners and advanced practitioners are always welcomed.
